Paradox Interactive har officiellt tillkännagett Europa Universalis V, det efterlängtade tillskottet i deras grand strategy-serie. Spelet, som utvecklats av Paradox Tinto under fem år, utspelar sig mellan 1337 och 1837, samt erbjuder spelare möjligheten att styra hundratals nationer genom historiska epoker.
Bland nyheterna finns ett detaljerat befolkningssystem inspirerat av Victoria 3, där man tvingas ta hänsyn till olika samhällsklasser med deras respektive behov och åsikter. Därtill så kommer spelet att innehålla sex olika tidsåldrar, som alla påverkar ens teknologiska och kulturella utveckling.
