Go On Board skriver följande om Tekken – The Board Game:
"This project is really special for us. Much of our crew spent countless hours in internet cafés playing the classic TEKKEN games. We still return to them, remembering how, years ago, we were learning new combos and coming up with different strategies to win against friends. On the other hand, our team doesn’t lack fans who fell in love with the latest game in the series – they’re always ready to prove their abilities in a fierce confrontation by the console. So, once we heard about the then-upcoming TEKKEN 8, reaching out to Bandai Namco Entertainment was a no-brainer. We thought adapting these emotions and systems to the tabletop game and connecting the two worlds of players would be an exciting challenge."
"In TEKKEN – The Board Game, your situation will constantly change. You’ll be the audience’s favorite, only to find yourself in a tough spot a few seconds later. Fights will be thrilling, and the winner will be unknown until the very end.
If you want to win, you must stay focused and adjust your strategy on the fly. Manage your cards wisely and attack where your rival expects it the least. Choose the position that gives you the biggest tactical advantage and deal a high, middle, or low strike. Be quick, and don’t hesitate – keep your intentions hidden.
Did the opponent block your punch? Keep fighting! You can still get back up on your feet. Observe your rival carefully and try to foresee the upcoming blow. Analyze their possible moves to regain control and launch a powerful counter-attack."
